Carré
Lennéstraße 59, 14471 Potsdam – Brandenburger Vorstadt
Behind the magnificent stucco façade, the corner house, built around 1900 welcomes residents and guests via the entrances at Lennéstrasse 59 and Sellostrasse 15a.
The building is characterised by a high-contrast design construction style which unites the classical, playful elements of the façade with a clean-cut, modern interior. With its decorative exterior, the house retains its historical heritage, while the interior has been updated to contemporary living standards.
The detailed façade forms an elegant and harmonious overall picture with bay windows, cast iron balcony railings, gables and stucco features. The large symmetrically-arranged windows allow a lot of light into the interior.
The apartments have between two and seven rooms, providing plenty of space for residents to realise their own dream living spaces – with options for both small and large families, for couples and for flat-sharing communities.
With a diverse range of floor plans, each of the apartments has a style of its own. Some are elegant and flooded with light, others are more functional and cosy. Each flat has that certain something, just waiting to be discovered. The 14 units in this corner house enjoy the advantages of two eras. The foundation walls of the house, from the year 1900, give the rooms the size and sense of space of an older style building. The construction measures which were executed in the nineties have lent the interior of the building a contemporary character.

Location
As a place to make your home, the “Brandenburger Vorstadt” district offers a good starting point to explore the diversity of Potsdam and the surrounding area.
As a centre point for culture, which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Potsdam can offer much more than the Sanssouci Palace (600 metres away) with its extensive park grounds. In the immediate surroundings you will also find all the things that make life really worth living – museums, theatres, a huge variety of restaurants and quaint little bars, art galleries, boutiques and tourist attractions make it a great place to spend time and go for walks.
Somewhat further away, yet still within easy reach, are the Dutch Quarter, the market on Bassinplatz and the Natural History Museum.
In Brandenburger Vorstadt, you will find an excellent infrastructure with medical practices, hospitals, schools and shopping facilities. Charlottenhof station is only 750 metres away. Potsdam central station, which is two kilometres away, can be reached by bus in just 15 minutes. This means that it takes less than an hour by public transport to get to the centre of Berlin. Similarly, it only takes a few minutes by car to reach the A10 and A115 motorways.
