Literaturhof
Grunewaldstraße 92, 10823 Berlin, Deutschland
Literature is brought to life. The Literaturhof is a multi-unit complex from the turn of the century with 23 flats and a commercial space. The six-story street-facing wing includes an attic floor and a shop front. The courtyard wing is a five-story prewar building with ten flats that is being extensively modernized. The entire facade will receive an artistic finish with pictures, dates, and quotations. Figures bearing the typical tools of the writer's trade will adorn the facade of the front building. This historic combination of tradition and modernity gives the Literaturhof its unique character.
Location
Every corner is its own little world
The Literaturhof is located directly adjacent to the Kurt-Hiller-Park and across from the Heinrich-von-Kleist-Park. Secondhand bookshops and delicatessens, small restaurants and unconventional designer boutiques – every corner is its own little world. The area has both quiet residential streets with magnificent houses and villas from before the First World War and corners with legendary bars, cafés, pubs and restaurants interspersed with well-tended green spaces, squares, and public parks. Grunewaldstraße is located between Potsdamer Straße and Bayerischer Platz at the Kleistpark U-Bahn station. You're only minutes away from the heart of Berlin – Potsdamer Platz, the Brandenburg Gate, and the Reichstag.
