Schlegelhöfe
Schlegelstraße 5, 10115 Berlin
"Die Schlegelhöfe" consist of three buildings named after the given names of the Schlegel brothers. They are made up of the front-facing »August House«, the transverse building with side wings entitled »Wilhelm House« and the second rear building, »Friedrich House«.
The history of the Romantic Period is physically embraced and made into an experience in the redevelopment of the "Schlegelhöfe". This will be achieved through having their signatures emblazoned on the facades and walls. This will be complimented by conceptual lighting to highlight the entrances into a piece of old-world Berlin.
